On a rainy wedding day, three new celebrity couples emerged. Actors Kim Bo Ra and Yoon Ji Yoo, along with FT Island’s former member Song Seung Hyun, celebrated their nuptials.
Kim Bo Ra, known for her role in the JTBC drama SKY Castle, married film director Jo Ba Reun on June 8th. The couple met in 2021 while working on the film The Grotesque Mansion, where Jo was the director and Kim was an actress. After three years of dating, they tied the knot. The ceremony featured a performance by Kim’s close friend, AKMU’s Lee Su Hyun, and was attended by her SKY Castle co-star Kim Hye Yoon, actress Jin Ji Hee, actress Lee Joo Myung, and Urban Zakapa’s Jo Hyunah.
On the same day, actress Yoon Ji Yoo, known for her role in MBC’s Coffee Prince (2007), also got married. The day before, she shared on Instagram, “I have finally met someone I want to spend my life with, and we are getting married tomorrow.” Her wedding, held at a hotel in Seoul, included a congratulatory speech by actor Lee Dong Wook and musical performances by singer Lee Juck and actress Lee Sung Kyung.
Former FT Island member Song Seung Hyun also tied the knot on this rainy day. His wedding took place at a wedding hall in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. Attendees included CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and actor Kwak Dong Yeon, both of whom have worked closely with Song. Following the wedding, Song and his bride plan to move to the United States, where he will join his father-in-law’s restaurant business.
