Following the confirmation of Han Ji Min and Jannabi’s Choi Jung Hoon’s relationship, online reactions have been grabbing attention.
On August 8th, both Han Ji Min and Choi Jung Hoon’s agencies confirmed their relationship just 10 minutes after the dating rumors surfaced, marking the beginning of their public romance. BH Entertainment, Han Ji Min’s agency, stated, “The two met through ‘The Seasons’ and recently developed into a romantic relationship.” Choi Jung Hoon’s agency, Peponi Music, echoed this statement.
However, some online reactions have been less than favorable. Comments such as “What is this even?” “Choi Jung Hoon? Seriously?” “This reminds me of Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In,” “Isn’t Choi Jung Hoon’s father involved in economic crimes?” and “Ji Min, run away,” have surfaced.
Choi Jung Hoon’s father, Mr. Choi, was previously convicted of fraud and sentenced to three years in prison in 2022 by the Suwon District Court. Prosecutors accused Mr. Choi of having neither the intention nor the capability to deliver on promises related to a real estate project, leading to his trial in October 2020.
Additionally, Mr. Choi was implicated in allegations involving former Vice Minister of Justice Kim Hak Eui, accused of bribery. At the time, Choi Jung Hoon’s agency clarified that the Choi brothers were merely nameholders in their father’s business and had no involvement in its operations. The investigative team also confirmed, “There is no investigation related to Choi Jung Hoon.”
Han Ji Min was born in 1982, and Choi Jung Hoon in 1992, making their relationship a 10-year age gap. Han Ji Min has been a known fan of Jannabi.
