Netflix’s upcoming action-comedy film “Officer Black Belt” has unveiled a new official teaser video!
“Officer Black Belt” follows the story of Lee Jung Do (Kim Woo Bin), who has a total of nine dans (meaning ranks) in taekwondo, kendo, and judo, as he works as a martial arts officer together with probation officer Kim Seon Min (Kim Sung Kyun) to prevent crimes by keeping a close, around-the-clock watch on individuals wearing electronic anklets.
The newly released video starts by showing how Lee Jung Do becomes a martial arts officer. After witnessing an assault case and heroically intervening, he is awarded as an exemplary citizen and invited to the role of martial arts officer. The teaser highlights his keen judgment and exceptional skills in crime prevention, which are complemented by Kim Seon Min’s clear presentation of the Miranda warning.
However, tensions escalate when dangerous criminal Kang Ki Jung (Lee Hyun Geol) is released after spending 20 years in prison. Determined to prevent any potential fallout, Jung Do insists, “How about I tail him? It’ll be too late if we wait for trouble.” The teaser then transitions to action-packed scenes, building excitement about the challenges Jung Do and Seon Min will face.
