tvN’s “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” has shared stills from its upcoming episode!
The sequel to OCN’s hit 2018 series “The Player,” “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” is a heist drama about a squad of talented swindlers who target the wealthy and corrupt by stealing dirty money that has been obtained through illegal means.
Song Seung Heon reprises his role as the slick con artist Kang Ha Ri, the mastermind behind the squad’s elaborate schemes. Lee Si Eon returns as the skilled hacker Lim Byung Min, and Tae Won Suk is back as the fighter Do Jin Woong. Joining the cast are Oh Yeon Seo as Jung Soo Min, a mysterious figure who lures Kang Ha Ri back into the game, and Jang Gyuri as the squad’s new driver Cha Je Yi.

Previously, the players successfully defeated cult leader Lim Sang Sik (Heo Sung Tae). Lim Sang Sik, who also had ties to Jeffrey Jung (Bu Bae), believed he could change the outcome upon discovering Kang Ha Ri’s identity. However, he was powerless against the players’ careful teamwork and ultimately lost everything.
However, Prosecutor Jang In Gyu (Kim Won Hae), who had been covertly investigating President Choi Sang Ho (Jo Sung Ha) and Jeffrey Jung’s relationship, was fatally attacked under mysterious circumstances the day he called Kang Ha Ri in. Additionally, Jung Soo Min discovered Choi Sang Ho and Jeffrey Jung’s connection at Lim Sang Sik’s sanctuary. She was shocked and felt betrayed, considering his possible involvement in the death of her former lover, journalist Shin Hyung Min (Hong Jong Hyun).
In the upcoming episode, as the showdown with the main villain Jeffrey Jung nears, the truth about the players’ actions will be revealed. Curiosity sparks as to the reason behind Jung Soo Min’s sudden appearance before the players and the true motives of their actual client, Choi Sang Ho.
Above all, viewers are curious about the actions Kang Ha Ri will take, especially since he had to part ways with his colleague Cha Ah Ryeong (Krystal Jung) in the past because of Jeffrey Jung. Now, he faces the potential loss of Prosecutor Jang In Gyu, who has been a dedicated ally to the players for a long time. Additionally, all eyes are on Jung Soo Min as she considers her decision regarding the shocking truth about Choi Sang Ho, whom she faithfully trusted and followed on behalf of her deceased father.
