Song Da Eun sparked dating rumors with BTS’s Jimin again.
Yesterday, she posted a photo on Instagram of wireless earphones with her name and “Jimin” written on them. Fans immediately connected the dots, believing “Jimin” refers to the BTS member.
This isn’t the first time dating rumors have swirled around the two. Last year, fans noticed clues in Song Da Eun’s social media posts that they believed hinted at a connection to Jimin. These clues included pictures that fans thought might have been taken at Jimin’s house or similar locations, and even rumors of sightings of the two together.
In response to the demands for clarification, Song Da Eun said, “Ask someone else about things that have nothing to do with me.” She added, “I’m perfectly sane” and “Please don’t scare me by telling me how scary fandoms are and how much you’re doing things that could get you sued.”
This time again, Song Da Eun has raised the eyebrows of fans by posting a photo that suggests a romantic relationship with Jimin. This is because the earphone photo was deleted, but she still left videos of what appears to be Jimin’s house, videos of her wearing a BTS goods T-shirt, and so on. In particular, she posted several videos that could be interpreted as harmless fangirling or romantic hinting, such as zooming in on a screen in a BTS music video and covering her face.
Fans are not happy. They’re flooding Song Da Eun’s social media with comments like “Please explain why you posted the video of Jimin” and “Respect Jimin’s privacy!” Others are simply asking, “Why are you posting videos of Jimin?” With the rumors swirling, everyone’s waiting to see if Song Da Eun or Jimin will address these dating speculations.
