7 K-dramas Coming in September 2024 That You Absolutely Shouldn’t Miss!
K-dramas, or Korean series, are enjoying huge success around the world. These series are distinguished by their captivating plots, their neat aesthetics, their original concepts, the diversity of emotions they arouse, as well as the versatility of the actors, elements that retain the attention of the spectators until the last episode.

The upcoming crime comedy K-drama “Seoul Busters” tells the story of a unique partnership between South Korea’s lowest-ranked homicide squad and elite homicide investigators, who later become the country’s top group. The protagonist, Dongbang Yoo-bin, was the leader of the Songwon Police Station’s homicide squad. He received an offer for a tenured professorship at a foreign university. However, he turned down the offer and chose to voluntarily join the Songwon Police Station’s Homicide Squad Unit 2 as the leader. Consisting of twelve episodes, “Seoul Busters” is set to air on Disney+ starting September 11, 2024.
2- The Judge From Hell
Upcoming action fantasy K-drama “The Judge From Hell” will tell the unique love story between elite judge Kang Bit-na and detective Han Da-on. While Kang Bit-na is on a mission to eliminate criminals who have killed without remorse, Han Da-on carries a painful past. “The Judge From Hell,” which has fourteen episodes, will premiere on September 21, 2024 on the streaming platform Disney+.
3- Dear Hyeri
The upcoming K-drama “Dear Hyeri” will tell the story of Joo Eun-ho, a South Korean advertiser whose life changes drastically after a serious accident. Following the mysterious disappearance of her close sister, she falls into deep distress and develops dissociative identity disorder. At the same time, she breaks up with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend, Jung Hyun-oh, keeps his scars buried deep in his heart. The series “Dear Hyeri,” consisting of twelve episodes, will air from September 23, 2024 on ENA and Genie TV.
4- What Comes After Love
“What Comes After Love” will show the reunion of lovers Choi Hong and Aoki Jungo after five years of separation. The couple met when Choi Hong went to study in Japan as a Korean student. However, they decided to separate due to different perspectives on love and practical issues. The highly anticipated K-drama “What Comes After Love” is adapted from the novel Sarang Hue Oneun Gotdeul and will air from September 27, 2024. It will have six episodes and will be available for streaming on the Coupang Play platform.
5- Dog Knows Everything
The upcoming silce_of-life K-drama “Dog Knows Everything” will tell the story of a respected actor, Lee Soon-jae, who gets caught up in an unexpected incident and is labeled a stalker by the public. Depressed by the situation, he escapes to Geoje Island, where he meets a former police dog, Sophie. Soon, Lee Soon-jae begins to understand Sophie’s barking as a human language, and the duo embarks on an investigation into the incidents occurring in the neighborhood. “Dog Knows Everything,” consisting of twelve episodes, will air starting September 25, 2024 on KBS2.
6- Gyeongseong Creature Season 2
According to Netflix, K-drama “Gyeongseong Creature” Season 2 will be set in modern Seoul in 2024. Ho-jae and Yoon Chae-ok meet, and Yoon Chae-ok notices an uncanny resemblance between Ho-jae and her former lover, Jang Tae-sang. Together, they embark on a thrilling adventure to uncover the truth about their unfinished relationship, their fate, and their past in Gyeongseong. “Gyeongseong Creature” Season 2 is set to premiere on September 27, 2024, on the Netflix streaming platform.
