Actress Shim Hye Jin, better known as the mother of RIIZE member Anton and the wife of composer Yoon Sang, is making her comeback through a captivating photoshoot in @style’s August issue.
For her Guerlain photoshoot, Shim Hye Jin returned to the camera after a long hiatus, effortlessly captivating the set with just her test shots. Her presence was so commanding that each click of the shutter produced a perfect shot, earning her praise from the staff.
Debuting in 1995, Shim Hye Jin appeared in Yoon Sang’s 1998 music video “As Always” and married him in 2002 after four and a half years of dating. After their marriage, she paused her acting career to support her husband while they both studied in the United States. The couple has two sons, with their eldest, Lee Chan Young, currently active as Anton in the popular group RIIZE.
In an interview with @style, Shim Hye Jin expressed her deep affection for her son Anton. She shared, “I saw Anton’s stage for the first time at the LA fan concert; it was surreal. When I met him, he didn’t feel like my own son but rather an idol.” She added, “I hope he can face any upcoming challenges with confidence and strength. I want him to continue this journey with gratitude towards his fans and find happiness in what he does.”
Shim Hye Jin also hinted at her own return to the entertainment industry, stating, “If opportunities arise, I’d love to take on new challenges and enjoy whatever comes my way.”
