Following Taeyeon, Wendy will also no longer participate in SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul.
On January 6, SM Entertainment announced the update via the concert’s official ticketing platform Melon Ticket. The notice stated, “Red Velvet’s Wendy will not be appearing at SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul due to personal reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this lineup change. Ticket cancellations and refunds due to this change can be processed without cancellation fees through our customer service center.”
This follows an earlier announcement that Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, who was also initially included in the lineup, will not be attending the concert.
SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul is set to take place over two days on January 11 and 12 at the Gocheok Sky Dome. Check out the lineup of performers here!
