Marry My Husband, produced by Studio Dragon and distributed internationally through Amazon Prime Video, is proving to be a global streaming sensation.
The show has consistently ranked in the global TOP 10 on Amazon Prime Video for an impressive 18 weeks since its debut on January 1st. It even reached number 5 on the platform’s weekly rankings for both English and non-English content from April 29th to May 5th.
Despite ending its domestic run on February 20th, the drama has continued to rank in the TOP10 for 10 weeks based on FlixPatrol, showcasing its sustained global popularity even after its domestic run.
As of May 7th, the show has captivated audiences in a whopping 46 countries, including Spain, Brazil, and Mexico. It’s particularly hot in 19 countries, including Thailand Singapore, and the Philippines, where it continues to hold a coveted spot in the TOP 3.
A Studio Dragon official hailed the show for rewriting K-drama history by staying in global streaming charts for over two months after its finale. Positive word-of-mouth suggests the show’s momentum will continue.
Meanwhile, Marry My Husband became the first K-drama to top the global daily TV show rankings since Amazon Prime Video launched its global service in 2016. It was also the first K-drama to enter the TOP10 of Amazon Prime Video in the Americas and Europe, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy.
