On June 8, Byun Woo-seok held his solo fan meeting titled “ByeonWooSeok Asia Fanmeeting Tour” in Taipei, Taiwan.
This meeting took place after Byun Woo-seok became a star thanks to his portrayal of the male lead, Ryu Seon-jae, in the tvN drama “Lovely Runner.” Many people gathered at Incheon International Airport to see the actor before he left for Taiwan, and even more fans were waiting for him at the Taiwan airport upon his arrival.
An Emotional Encounter
Amid the growing interest in his role in the drama, Byun Woo-seok completed his meeting with his fans by exhibiting various charms and captivating their hearts. He demonstrated his singing skills by performing live performances of “Loveholic”, “Sudden Shower” and “I Think I Did”. The actor, moved by the enthusiastic chants of his fans, ended up shedding tears. Additionally, Byun Woo-seok showed his adorable side by wearing a Cardcaptor Sakura costume and recreating photos from his childhood.
Lee Seung-hyeop in Concert
On the same day, Lee Seung-hyeop, who plays Baek In-hyuk in “Lovely Runner”, also held a concert with the group N.Flying. With three members of N.Flying currently serving in the military, vocal members Yoo Hwi-seung and Lee Seung-hyeop performed the concert together.
During N.Flying’s concert, Lee Seung-hyeop introduced himself as “Baek In-hyuk, leader of Eclipse”, drawing enthusiastic reactions from K-drama fans. It seems that Lee Seung-hyeop is aware of his growing public recognition after the drama.
Continuing the Legacy of “Lovely Runner”
In “Lovely Runner,” Ryu Seon-jae (Byun Woo-seok) and Baek In-hyuk (Lee Seung-hyeop) are members of the famous boy band Eclipse. Even after the drama ended, fans remain very attached to the series, joking that Eclipse’s Ryu Seon-jae and Baek In-hyuk are pursuing solo activities.
Recently, misinformation has been circulating regarding Eclipse’s participation in KCON LA, but “Lovely Runner” fans are also hoping that Eclipse might hold a real concert and perform together in reality.
