Will Jang Ki Yong be able to win Chun Woo Hee back on JTBC’s “The Atypical Family”?

“The Atypical Family” is a fantasy romance drama about a family that once had supernatural powers, but lost them after suffering from realistic modern-day problems. Jang Ki Yong stars as Bok Gwi Joo, who once had the ability to time-travel but lost his power after becoming depressed due to a devastating accident.

Spoilers

On the previous episode of “The Atypical Family,” Bok Gwi Joo learned that Do Da Hae (Chun Woo Hee) had ruined their wedding for his sake. He then traveled back in time in order to tell the Do Da Hae of the past, “Don’t let me go.”

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Do Da Hae goes on a blind date, perhaps in search of her next target for marriage. As a jealous Bok Gwi Joo watches from the sidelines, Do Da Hae goes all out for her date in an attempt to convince Bok Gwi Joo to give up on her.

From smiling brightly at her date to proffering a gift from the same brand as the shoes she gave Bok Yi Na, Do Da Hae does everything she can to skillfully butter up her potential partner. However, despite her best efforts to turn Bok Gwi Joo off, his gaze remains loving as he watches her from afar.

Meanwhile, another set of photos capture Bok Dong Hee (Claudia Kim) meeting with Jo Ji Han (Choi Seung Yoon). Notably, Grace (Ryu Abel) sprays perfume behind Jo Ji Han’s back while passing by, piquing curiosity as to what she might be up to.

As Jo Ji Han leans forward to cautiously tell Bok Dong Hee what he has to say, she looks back at him with a slightly bitter smile.

The drama’s production team teased, “In Episode 8, which airs today, Bok Gwi Joo will stay near Do Da Hae even as she tries to push him away. Bok Gwi Joo’s bold pursuit will continue as he tries to change Do Da Hae’s mind. His deal with Baek Il Hong will also unfold in an entertaining way.”

They went on to add, “Also, a shocking twist will be revealed about Bok Gwi Joo and Do Da Hae.”
