NOWADAYS will be changing their recently announced fandom name.

Earlier this week, the rookie boy group from Cube Entertainment announced that the name of their official fan club would be “D-DAY.”

On July 13, Cube Entertainment stated that NOWADAYS would no longer be using “D-DAY,” as they had belatedly learned that the name was already being used by a different artist’s fan club. Instead, the group will be announcing a new fan club name next week.

The agency’s full English statement is as follows:

Hello.
This is CUBE Entertainment.

This is an announcement regarding the official fan club name for NOWADAYS, “D-DAY.”

The fan club name, “D-DAY,” was selected by taking into consideration the insightful suggestions from the fans and was officially announced on July 10. However, after the announcement, we discovered that the name is already being used by another artist’s fan club. As a result, we have decided to choose a new official fan club name.

We apologize for any confusion caused by not thoroughly checking beforehand.
Details about the new official fan club name for NOWADAYS will be announced next week. We apologize once more to everyone who was inconvenienced by this issue and sincerely thank all of the fans for their continuing support and interest in NOWADAYS.

Thank you.
