Choi Sung Eun may be starring in a new drama!
On June 28, a local media outlet reported that Choi Sung Eun was offered the lead female role in the upcoming drama “Gyunwoo and Fairy” (literal title). In response to the report, her agency, ACE FACTORY, confirmed that the actress has received the offer and is currently reviewing it.
Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, “Gyunwoo and Fairy” is a fantasy romance drama that follows the story of a high school student named Park Sung Ah who leads a double life as a shaman at night. When she discovers that her first love Baek Gyun Woo is close to death, she takes it upon herself to save him, sparking romance between them.
Choi Sung Eun made her debut in 2018 through the theater play “Grain in the Blood” and has since appeared in various projects including “Start-Up,” “The Sound of Magic,” “Gentleman,” and most recently “My Name Is Loh Kiwan.”
