Byeon Woo Seok recently held his first fan meeting in Taiwan, drawing over 3,000 local fans and sparking a series of unprecedented events, showcasing his immense popularity.

Taiwan’s Liberty Times reported on June 9th, “Hallyu star Byeon Woo Seok held two consecutive fan meetings in Taiwan on the 8th, attracting over 3,000 fans.” The report highlighted the overwhelming fan turnout, with fans flocking to Breeze Nanshan to take photos with Byeon Woo Seok. “The line for the sticker machine extended until the department store’s closing time,” the paper noted.

A reporter on-site stated, “When I arrived at around 6 PM, the end of the line was nowhere in sight. The staff informed latecomers that with a 10-minute photo session per fan, they would only be able to accommodate those who arrived before 10 PM. Fans were advised to come back another day.” This photo event will continue in Taiwan until the 30th.

Additionally, reports surfaced about extreme fans intruding into the Lovely Runner star’s hotel. “Some obsessive fans not only booked more than ten cars in one day but also rented out rooms at Byeon Woo Seok’s hotel, pressing every elevator button on each floor,” said the report.

This scenario eerily mirrors the privacy invasions experienced by Byeon Woo Seok’s character, Ryu San Jae, in the drama Lovely Runner. In response, many fans called for the extreme fans to restrain their actions, urging, “Please do not disrupt the actor’s personal schedule and support purely.”

Despite these challenges, Byeon Woo Seok showed his appreciation by greeting fans who followed him to the after-party post-fan meeting. Known for his love of hot pot, Byeon Woo Seok headed to a hot pot restaurant and personally thanked the gathered fans for their support.
