tvN has just released behind-the-scenes footage of the much-talked-about kiss scene from episode 9 of Lovely Runner featuring Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon. The pair exhibited a remarkable closeness that drew significant attention, showcasing their undeniable chemistry.
In the scene, Kim Hye Yoon, playing Lim Sol, regresses to her college days and dances naturally in the courtyard, eliciting a fond smile from Byeon Woo Seok. He was captured on camera admiring Kim’s vibrant charm, commenting, “She’s so cute.”
The mood remained light and cheerful even during the filming of their highlight kiss scene in episode 9. The duo was all smiles, and when Kim flubbed her lines, Byeon reassured her with a warm smile. He even sweetly brushed something off her cheek while adjusting angles, adding to the moment’s sweetness.
At one point, Byeon lifted Kim, who playfully expressed concern, saying, “You look exhausted.” Byeon responded by giving her a gentle neck massage, further enhancing the friendly atmosphere on set.

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 10 of Lovely Runner matched its series high with a viewership rating of 4.8%, the same as the previous record-setting episode 9.
