BTS’s V’s latest single is off to a strong start on the Billboard charts!
On March 26 local time, Billboard revealed that V’s new digital single “FRI(END)S” had debuted on the Hot 100—its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States—at No. 65.
“FRI(END)S” is V’s fourth solo entry on the Hot 100, following “Christmas Tree” (which peaked at No. 79), “Love Me Again” (No. 96), and “Slow Dancing” (No. 51).
Additionally, “FRI(END)S” debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, meaning it was the second best-selling song of the week in the United States.
“FRI(END)S” also debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 5 on the Global 200, while V’s 2023 pre-release single “Love Me Again” re-entered the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 178.
Finally, V re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 28, marking his 10th non-consecutive week on the chart as a solo artist.
Congratulations to V!
