BTS’s Jungkook is making K-pop history in the United Kingdom!
The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) has announced that Jungkook’s 2023 single “3D” featuring Jack Harlow has received an official BRIT silver certification, making it his fourth solo song to accomplish the feat.
With this achievement, Jungkook has become the first Korean solo artist in history to have four different singles certified silver in the United Kingdom. As a soloist, Jungkook has previously gone silver in the United Kingdom with “Seven” (featuring Latto), “Standing Next to You,” and his Charlie Puth collab “Left and Right.”
According to the BPI’s certification thresholds, singles are certified silver at 200,000 units sold, while albums are certified silver at 60,000 units sold.
