The K-drama Youth, inspired by BTS, will be released soon! Korean media have revealed the period of its release as well as the exclusive application on which it will be broadcast.

The upcoming K-drama Youth is based on the BTS universe story The Most Beautiful Moment in Life. Like the story of the BTS universe, Youth has seven main characters: Hwan, Cein, Hosu, Dogeon, Haru, Jooan, and Jeha. The Kdrama will reveal each character’s challenges in youth and adolescence and how they will overcome them, while making lifelong friends.

The trailer for Youth gives a glimpse of the storyline and a correlation with the characters in the BTS universe. Kim Hwan’s character in the Kdrama originated from Jin’s storyline in BTS’s The Most Beautiful Moment in Life. Played by Seo Ji Hoon, Kim Hwan is the son of a politician. Due to his father’s reputation, he has difficulty assimilating but ends up finding friends on whom he can now count.

Cein’s character is based on the Suga arc from the BTS universe, and will be played by Ro Jong Hyun. In Youth, Cein is haunted by speculation that he burned down his own house, killing his mother.

Hosu ​​(based on J-hope and played by Ahn Jo Ho) struggles with abandonment. He is afraid of getting close to someone because the idea of ​​the other person shames him. But Hosu ends up finding comfort within a new group of friends who celebrate every little joy in life with him.

BTS’ film The Most Beautiful Moment In Life took a deep dive into the complexities of coming of age and dealing with the uncertainties that comes with it. So, after a captivating trailer, all eyes are on Youth to see if he can live up to the story telling of the BTS universe.

According to Korean media, Youth will be released in April. Youth will have twelve episodes, divided into three parts, of four episodes each. It is co-produced by BTS’ parent company HYBE Labels, Chorokbaem Media and Finger Labs. According to Chorokbaem Media, Youth will be available on Xclusive, a pioneering Web 3.0 technology platform.
