“Rockstar” is her first solo music release in three years since “Lalisa” (2021) and her first new music since the launch of her own label, Lloud, in February last year in order to pursue her solo career. She is still signed to YG Entertainment for her group activities as part of Blackpink.

In April, Lloud signed a partnership deal with US record label RCA Records under Sony Music Entertainment for her worldwide solo career.

Lisa’s ‘Rockstar’ is expected to capture listeners’ attention, especially with the backing of RCA Records,” said Lloud in a press release, “After achieving numerous successes with her album to become a global pop artist.

Lisa is also set to make her acting debut with a role in the third season of HBO’s ‘The White Lotus’. The show’s premiere date has not yet been set.

The remaining member, Rosé, joins fellow artists Jeon Somi, Taeyang of Big Bang, Zion.T and others who have recently signed management deals with The Black Label.
