HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk‘s Instagram has come under scrutiny after ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin claimed that HYBE interfered with the activities of NewJeans.
The page in question shows pictures of Bang Si Hyuk with BTS, LE SSERAFIM, TXT, SEVENTEEN, fromis_9, &TEAM and ENHYPEN. However, there is no picture of NewJeans anywhere on Bang Si Hyuk’s Instagram.
Online communities have been flooded with posts pointing out that the group directed by Min Hee Jin is missing from Bang Si Hyuk’s Instagram.
Some netizens have commented, “NewJeans is really not there,” “Maybe he feels small around NewJeans,” “Why did he even create a label system if he was going to do this?” and “NewJeans must have been really lonely. They are ostracized by their own CEO.” Others have pointed out that not only NewJeans but also BoyNextDoor, a group discovered by Zico and debuted last May, is also missing from the photo.

Meanwhile, HYBE has responded to Min Hee Jin’s press conference with a statement. “There are many things that are not true in what Min said at the press conference,” they wrote. “She is clouding the issue by twisting the timeline and presenting distorted facts in a public forum.”
HYBE added, “We could refute each of her claims with evidence, but we have decided not to address them because they are not worth responding to. We urge her to step down immediately so that ADOR can get back on track to its normal management, as she has already proven herself unfit to be a CEO.”
