Rapper San E has been revealed as the rapper being investigated by the police for assault charges.
Seoul Mapo Police Station reported on August 19th that they booked San E on August 17th on charges of special assault. Reports of a rapper being investigated for assault first surfaced in July. At the time, the rapper’s name was not disclosed.
According to the police, San E was booked on charges of hitting a pedestrian in the face with his cell phone around 8:30 PM on July 28th in a park in Mapo District, Seoul. The police conducted a basic investigation and allowed both parties to return home after receiving a report and arriving at the scene. Later, the police summoned San E for further questioning and launched a formal investigation.
The victim claims that the incident resulted in some dental damage and a laceration near their eye. It is reported that during the altercation, San E told the victim to steer their bicycle properly.
San E made his official debut in 2010. He appeared on Mnet’s hip-hop survival program, Show Me the Money.
