Actor Han Sang Jin will be starring in the upcoming SBS drama “The Judge From Hell” (literal translation) alongside Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young!
On July 23, SBS’s “The Judge From Hell” confirmed that Han Sang Jin will join the drama as Kim Hye Hwa’s co-star. Earlier, Kim Hye Hwa’s agency JFULL Entertainment had also confirmed her role in the drama.
“The Judge From Hell” follows Kang Bit Na (Park Shin Hye), a demon from hell who possesses a judge’s body. She encounters Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), a compassionate and dedicated detective who punishes criminals in a reality harsher than hell. The show is a romantic fantasy about the coexistence of good and evil and the journey to becoming a true judge.
Han Sang Jin stars as Joo Hyung Seok, a sergeant at the Nobong Police Station and the husband of Kim So Young (Kim Hye Hwa). His wife is the leader of the violent crime team who started out as a police officer and rose to the position of inspector through her own abilities. While his wife So Young is gruff, Hyung Seok is affectionate and friendly with their children. His warmth for his family adds a comforting touch to the show.
Han Sang Jin, known for his detailed acting and versatility, recently tackled a new role in the Disney+ original series “The Impossible Heir.” Moving away from his usual good-guy image, he portrayed a villain driven by madness and ambition, earning praise for his complex performance.
“The Judge From Hell” is scheduled to air in the second half of this year. Stay tuned for more updates!
