Disney+’s upcoming drama “The Tyrant” has released its character teaser!
“The Tyrant” is a four-part chase action drama that unfolds after the final sample from a program called the “Tyrant Program” disappears due to a delivery mishap. This sets off a chain of pursuits involving individuals with different motives, each competing to secure the sample. Cha Seung Won stars as Im Sang, a former agent tasked with eliminating those connected to the Tyrant Program. Kim Seon Ho plays Director Choi, an unofficial mastermind behind the program, linked to a government agency.
The character teaser opens with the compelling introduction of Im Sang, a seasoned operative who effortlessly eliminates obstacles within the secretive Tyrant Program. Im Sang, impeccably attired and eloquent, handles a shotgun with ruthless efficiency, aiming it chillingly at someone’s head and saying, “Die, now.”
Soon after, Director Choi, the enigmatic mastermind behind the Tyrant Program, steps into the spotlight, searching for the missing sample with an eerie presence. He steadfastly declares, “No matter what happens, I can’t give up,” maintaining his convictions with unwavering calm in crisis.
Meanwhile, news of a missing prototype prompts Paul (Kim Kang Woo) to pursue the Tyrant Program, confronting Director Choi with resolute determination and questioning, “Should I kill them all and seize it?”
Adding to the intrigue, Ja Kyung (Jo Yoon Soo), a skilled technician assigned to acquire the program, appears while confidently asserting, “You guys don’t know me very well,” hinting at her prowess as a stealthy thief. The teaser also promises a mix of intense firearm confrontations, hand-to-hand combat, and heart-pounding car chases.
