Netflix’s “Sweet Home” series returns with its third season, promising fierce battles among the survivors.
From the first images, we discover Hyun-soo (played by Song Kang) with an intense gaze and wings on fire, heading towards an unknown location. After being transformed into a monster and losing those close to him, Hyun-soo arouses curiosity: will he be able to regain his humanity and protect his loved ones this season?
Sang-wook (played by Lee Jin-wook) increases the tension by seeking more power and a perfect body. Escaped from the laboratory and on his way to the stadium, he sows chaos and division among the survivors, imposing his unique presence.
Eun-hyuk (played by Lee Do-hyun), who surprised everyone by transforming into a monster in season 2, reappears in human form. This reappearance raises expectations about her role, marked by a mixture of guilt, responsibility and maternal love.
Eun-yoo (played by Go Min-si) refuses to abandon those around her and fights to survive together, even in the most desperate situations. His miraculous reunion with his lost brother, Eun-hyuk, introduces a new dynamic. The footage shows Eun-yoo and Eun-hyuk face to face, suggesting subtle changes in their relationship and fueling curiosity about Eun-hyuk’s return.
The return of Eun-hyuk, presumed dead, with a different appearance, intrigues as to the evolution of the monstrous transformation crisis. An image of Chan-young (played by Jinyoung) in a fighting stance among the flames highlights his courage and willingness to risk his life to save the survivors, heightening interest in his role in this transformed world.
Season 2, which expanded the universe by showing humans living in the midst of a prolonged monstrous crisis, received widespread criticism. The question is whether season 3 will manage to reverse this trend.
“Sweet Home” Season 3 will be available on Netflix starting July 19.
