“Parole Examiner Lee” has teased thrilling twists in tonight’s episode!
“Parole Examiner Lee” tells the story of lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining parole through money, connections, or deceitful tactics. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri stars as Ahn Seo Yun, an ace detective who teams up with Lee Han Shin to catch bad guys.

In the previous episode, Ji Myung Seop (Lee Hak Joo) discovered that Lee Han Shin was the one who blocked his father Ji Dong Man’s (Song Young Chang) parole. Fueled by this revelation, Ji Myung Seop sought out Lee Han Shin directly. Meanwhile, the preview for tonight’s episode hinted at a game-changing twist when Lee Han Shin tells Ahn Seo Yun, “Ji Myung Seop made me an offer. I think I’m going to take his hand.”
Newly released stills further build anticipation, showcasing the diverging paths of Lee Han Shin, Ahn Seo Yun, and Choi Hwa Ran (Baek Ji Won), who initially worked together to apprehend Ji Myung Seop.
The first set of stills captures a tense one-on-one encounter between Lee Han Shin and Ji Myung Seop. Ji Myung Seop’s sly smirk contrasts starkly with Lee Han Shin’s composed demeanor, ramping up the tension. The images depict Ji Myung Seop proposing a secret deal to Lee Han Shin, raising questions about what could compel Lee Han Shin to entertain the offer.
Additional stills highlight Ahn Seo Yun and Choi Hwa Ran’s determined pursuit of Ji Myung Seop. After Ji Myung Seop’s return to Korea, Choi Jung Hak (Nam Min Woo) was found dead, leading Ahn Seo Yun to suspect Ji Myung Seop as the prime suspect. Her investigation begins with tracing the origin of the vehicle where Choi Jung Hak’s body was discovered. Choi Hwa Ran, an expert in scrap vehicles, joins forces with Ahn Seo Yun to assist in the case.
In the stills, Ahn Seo Yun and Choi Hwa Ran are conducting a stakeout at a junkyard believed to be linked to the vehicle. What drives Choi Hwa Ran to assist Ahn Seo Yun instead of Lee Han Shin? Can the two uncover the truth about Choi Jung Hak’s murder?
