“Parole Examiner Lee” is a tvN drama starring Go Soo as Lee Han Shin, a lawyer who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining parole through money, connections, or deceitful tactics. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri stars as Ahn Seo Yun, an ace detective who teams up with Lee Han Shin to catch bad guys.

In Episode 10, Lee Han Shin was abruptly arrested on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. In the upcoming episode, Lee Han Shin’s colleagues are expected to step in and support him after the Ohjeong Group dealt him a heavy blow.

Also featured are reporter Woo Ji Kwang (Choi Dae Chul), who helped expose Ohjeong Group’s corruption, Choi Hwa Ran’s right-hand man, Manager Baek (Jung Jong Woo), and Lee Han Shin’s parole supporter, single mother Heo Eun Ji (Hwang Se In).
The released photos capture the group campaigning for a reinvestigation of the prison drug case by collecting signatures. Their goal is to gather support for a petition calling for the reopening of the investigation, the backdrop to the urgent arrests of Lee Han Shin and Park Jin Chul (Lee Do Yeop).
What stands out most is how many people have joined Lee Han Shin in his quest for justice, a journey he started alone. Drawn to his unique charm and unconventional methods, they have gathered one by one. It remains to be seen whether they can rally enough public support to save him.
However, they are up against the powerful Ohjeong Group, which wields significant influence and controls the media. As a result, generating public support for a reinvestigation will be a tough challenge. What will come of the squad’s efforts?
