Yum Jung Ah and Park Hae Joon may be teaming up for an exciting new drama!
On December 3, SPOTV News reported that Yum Jung Ah and Park Hae Joon have been cast in the upcoming drama “First, For Love” (literal title).
While Yum Jung Ah’s representative has yet to comment on the report, a representative from Park Hae Joon’s agency PLEO ent shared, “Park Hae Joon is reviewing the offer to appear in ‘First, For Love.’”
“First, For Love” is a heartwarming comedy drama that follows an incompatible duo of a 43-year-old single mother and her 23-year-old medical student daughter as they move to the countryside to start the second chapter of their lives. Along the way, they encounter various people and chaotic situations that ultimately teach them simple yet profound lessons about life.
The series will be directed by Yoo Je Won, known for numerous hit dramas including “Oh My Ghost,” “Tomorrow, with You,” “Abyss,” “Hi Bye, Mama!,” “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” “Crash Course in Romance,” and “Love Next Door.”
Yum Jung Ah has reportedly been offered the role of Ji An, a construction site manager who became a single mother under unexpected circumstances. Determined and resilient, Ji An strives to ensure her daughter can live a “correct” life as opposed to her own, which she believes to be filled with wrongs and errors.
Park Hae Joon is in talks for the role of Jeong Seok, an architect whose polished urban appearance contrasts with his simple and rustic personality. Jeong Seok’s peaceful life takes an unexpected turn after meeting Ji An and her daughter.
