Actress Yoon Ga Yi will be starring in the upcoming SBS drama “Acquaintances” (working title) alongside Han Ji Min and Lee Joon Hyuk!
On July 2, Yoon Ga Yi’s agency OUI Entertainment announced, “Yoon Ga Yi has been confirmed to star in the new SBS drama ‘Acquaintances.’”
“Acquaintances” is a romance drama about Kang Ji Yoon (Han Ji Min), a CEO who is fantastic at her job but inept at everything else, and Yoo Eun Ho (Lee Joon Hyuk), her highly competent secretary who is great at not only his job but also childcare and housework. The drama also stars Kim Do Hoon as Woo Jung Hoon, a preppy boy from a rich family who harbors mixed feelings about his father.
Yoon Ga Yi takes on the role of Na Gyu Rim, a consultant at Kang Ji Yoon’s company Peoples. As a character with a loyal personality who fulfills her responsibilities, Na Gyu Rim is the busiest and most talented employee at the company. Yoon Ga Yi is expected to showcase a womance with her boss Han Ji Min in the drama.
Having debuted in 2018 through the film “Second Life,” Yoon Ga Yi has built a solid filmography by going back and forth between the big screen and the small screen. The actress impressed in the dramas “Through the Darkness,” “Doctor Cha,” “Lies Hidden in My Garden,” and “Revenant.”
