Yoo Yeon Seok will face off with Chae Soo Bin’s kidnapper on the next episode of “When the Phone Rings”!
Based on a popular web novel, MBC’s “When the Phone Rings” tells the story of Baek Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Hong Hee Joo (Chae Soo Bin), a couple that married for convenience—and the the romance that blossoms between them after a threatening phone call.

On the previous episode of “When the Phone Rings,” it shockingly came to light that the mysterious “Professor” who was helping the kidnapper was none other than Sa Eon’s close confidant Park Do Jae (Choi Woo Jin).
In newly released stills from the upcoming episode of the drama, Sa Eon rushes to the fishing spot where Hee Joo is being held hostage by Do Jae and the kidnapper (Park Jae Yoon). However, he is soon shocked to see Do Jae lying unconscious and covered in blood, piquing curiosity as to what could have happened.
After finding Hee Joo, Sa Eon gets into a heated confrontation with the kidnapper as he angrily yells at him for repeatedly endangering his wife.
Meanwhile, the kidnapper messes with Sa Eon’s head by relentlessly provoking him in the midst of his outburst.
Although Do Jae and the kidnapper joined forces with the shared goal of destroying Sa Eon, it’s unclear whether they are allies or enemies—and the fierce glares they exchange suggest that they might not be entirely on the same page.
