Actor Yoo Teo has been cast as the lead in the upcoming Hollywood film “Karoshi”!
“Karoshi” is an action thriller that marks a collaboration between the famous American studio Lionsgate and 87Eleven Entertainment, the production company behind the American noir action film series “John Wick.” Although little has been revealed about the film’s plot, it is described as a “corporate thriller with a samurai twist.”
Earlier this year, Yoo Teo made headlines by being nominated for Best Actor at the 77th EE British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Film Awards for his role in “Past Lives.” He was also named one of the A100 (the 100 most impactful Asian leaders of the year) by Gold House, and he was recently invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
Additionally, Yoo Teo was previously confirmed to star in the second season of the American Netflix series “The Recruit” in a leading role.
