YG’s highly anticipated new girl group BABYMONSTER is gearing up for their debut!
According to YG Entertainment on July 11, the debut project of BABYMONSTER is progressing at a rapid speed under the leadership of general producer Yang Hyun Suk. A strong hip hop genre song has been chosen as their debut title track, aiming to be released in September. They are currently in the late stages of debut preparations including working on the choreography and music video.
Earlier in May, general producer Yang Hyun Suk mentioned that BABYMONSTER will debut no later than this fall when announcing the final lineup of the members.
BABYMONSTER is the first girl group produced by YG Entertainment in about seven years since BLACKPINK. The group consists of multinational members including Ahyeon, Haram, and Rora from Korea, Pharita and Chiquita from Thailand, and Ruka and Asa from Japan.
