Wi Ha Joon admitted to getting giddy around his co-star Jung Ryeo Won while filming their new drama.
Jung Ryeo Won and Wi Ha Jun recently appeared as guests on Jo Hyun Ah’s YouTube show to promote their upcoming drama, The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, which premieres this Saturday, May 11th. During the show, Jo Hyun Ah asked a question many fans ponder: “Do you ever feel sparks fly with your co-star during romantic scenes?”
Wi Ha Joon’s reply was adorable: “Honestly, I got butterflies whenever she was around. She’s so pretty.”
He went on to share, “There’s something about reading with her that gives me those little butterflies. When we filmed that one scene, it felt like the background music was playing, and I felt weak in the knees.”
The Midnight Romance in Hagwon tells the love story of a secret and sweet real-life romance between Seo Hye Jin ( (played by Jung Ryeo Won), a veteran hagwon instructor, and Lee Joon Ho (Wi Ha Joon), a quirky student who returns as a new instructor at her academy after a decade to stir her heart. The drama is directed by Ahn Pan Seok, known for his hit dramas featuring younger male leads, like Secret Affair, Something in the Rain, and One Spring Night.
