Previously, Seo Hye Jin (Jung Ryeo Won) was profoundly shocked upon learning that she had influenced someone’s beliefs and decisions.

Facing the harsh reality of striving for success alone, Hye Jin was deeply unsettled by her arguments with Lee Joon Ho (Wi Ha Joon) over the essence of their classes. However, Joon Ho was the one who comforted her, giving her a moment of rest during her intense journey, momentarily forgetting the ocean’s appearance. Their sunny smiles on the peaceful beach provide heartwarming healing, even upon reflection.

Their journey to understanding love was gradual, yet Hye Jin and Joon Ho always shared the same desire. Transitioning from friends to lovers over time, they relied on honesty to overcome their imperfections and cultivate their relationship.

As they navigate busy days without rest, Hye Jin and Joon Ho always find comfort together at night. Yet, challenges have surfaced in their seemingly flawless relationship. Joon Ho, emphasizing the importance of broadening students’ horizons in teaching, clashed with Hye Jin, who prioritizes practical college entrance exam preparation.

The couple resolved their conflicts in a mutually beneficial way. Hye Jin came to understand and accept Joon Ho’s decision, despite her initial strong opposition. What touched Hye Jin was Joon Ho’s sincerity. Reflecting on her compromises with reality and grasping the essence Joon Ho had advocated for, she experienced personal growth once again. Additionally, Hye Jin leveraged her own 10-year teaching materials against Vice Principal Woo Seung Hee (Kim Jung Young) to successfully launch a class for Joon Ho, overcoming its initial rejection through strategic maneuvering.

As Hye Jin faces new challenges from figures aiming to undermine her, the story now centers on how Hye Jin and Joon Ho will navigate these unexpected challenges ahead.

The next episode of “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” airs on June 22 at 9:20 p.m. KST!
