Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won are about to face their biggest crisis yet on “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon”!

Helmed by director Ahn Pan Seok of the hit drama “Something in the Rain,” tvN’s “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” is a love story set against the backdrop of Daechi, a neighborhood known as the epicenter of private education in Korea due to its high concentration of hagwons (private educational institutions).

Spoilers

On the previous episode of “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon,” Woo Seung Hee (Kim Jung Young) and Choi Hyung Sun (Seo Jeong Yeon) played their final card: exposing Seo Hye Jin (Jung Ryeo Won) and Lee Joon Ho (Wi Ha Joon)’s relationship and turning it into a “teacher-student scandal.”

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, things get ugly at Daechi Chase as the couple faces the aftermath of their romance being made public. Seo Hye Jin stands frozen in place as she stares at a livid Lee Joon Ho, who looks as though he is on the verge of getting into a physical fight. With Lee Joon Ho unable to contain his fury, multiple people have to hold him back as he angrily confronts someone.

Yoon Ji Seok (Jang In Sub), who broke the scandal that led to this mess, gazes coldly at Seo Hye Jin, while Nam Chung Mi (So Ju Yeon) wears an unreadable expression amidst the chaos.

Later, Seo Hye Jin bursts into tears alone in the hagwon counseling room, revealing just how much she is struggling emotionally with everything that’s happened to her over the past few days.

A final photo shows Lee Joon Ho with red-rimmed eyes and a pained expression, raising the question of how the couple will deal with the fallout from their scandal.

“Seo Hye Jin and Lee Joon Ho’s scandal will grow to the point where it can no longer be controlled,” said the drama’s production team. “Please stay tuned to find out whether these two, who are facing the biggest crisis of their lives, will be able to keep both their careers and their love.”

To find out what lies in store for this couple, tune in to the next episode of “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” on June 23 at 9:20 p.m. KST!
