The 2024 Paris Olympics are upon us, and Korean TV networks are making adjustments to cover the exciting event. This means some of your favorite shows will be on hold to make way for Olympic broadcasts. We’ve compiled a list of the shows affected, so you can plan your viewing accordingly.
SBS
SBS’s popular music program Inkigayo will be the first to take a break, with no new episodes airing on July 21st, 28th, and August 4th. It’s scheduled to return to its regular broadcast schedule on August 11th.
SBS’s popular drama Good Partner will be taking a three-week break starting from July 27th. Additionally, several flagship variety shows will be temporarily off the air, including weekend favorites like My Little Old Boy and Running Man. Even the investigative documentary series Unanswered Questions won’t be airing during the Olympics.

KBS
Gag Concert will be on a three-week hiatus, with no new episodes airing on July 28th, August 4th, or August 11th. Fans can expect the show to return to its regular broadcast schedule on August 18th.
Similarly, the fourth season of the adventure reality series 2 Days & 1 Night will also take a three-week break during the Olympics. No new episodes will be broadcast on July 28th, August 4th, or August 11th. The program is expected to resume its regular schedule on August 18th.
KBS 2TV will preempt all evening and late-night variety shows on July 27th and 28th. This means there will be no new episodes of Immortal Songs and Mr. House Husband Season 2 on July 27th, and Boss in the Mirror on July 28th.
