MBC’s new drama “When the Phone Rings” is off to a promising start!
On November 22, the romance thriller starring Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin aired its highly-anticipated first episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere of “When the Phone Rings” scored an average nationwide rating of 5.5 percent.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “The Fiery Priest 2”—which airs in the same time slot—achieved the highest viewership ratings of its season thus far. The popular drama was the most-watched show of any kind to air on Friday, when it earned a nationwide average of 12.7 percent.
