South Korean singer-songwriter Wheein expressed her excitement for her first ever solo concert in the country happening tomorrow, April 13, at the SM North EDSA Sky Dome in Quezon City. The MAMAMOO member sat down with the media and some lucky fans at her press conference held just a day before her highly-anticipated solo performance.

Wheein revealed how much she missed the country after she previously performed with MAMAMOO back in 2023.

“It’s sad because last time I wasn’t able to try a lot of [Filipino] food because we are so busy. This time, I really want to try a lot of things, especially Crispy Pata,” she shared.

The South Korean singer shared how different it is now as she’s touring several cities across the world as a soloist and not with the rest of MAMAMOO. Before coming to Manila, Wheein performed in other cities such as Hong Kong and Bangkok.

“It’s a lot heavier and burdensome on my end but then again I’ve received so much cheers and love from you guys so of course I think I can do well because of that,” she added.

She added how the Philippine stop of her tour was made possible by her Filipino fans who have continuously shown their support in her journey as a solo artist.

“It was because of the fans’ love and because of you guys who were telling me that you are always waiting for me so that’s the reason why I included the Philippines in the tour. Just your presence alone [in my concert] will make it memorable,” she said.

Limited tickets for Wheein’s highly-anticipated solo concert in the country are still available via SM Ticket outlets nationwide and smtickets.com. Fan benefits for the SVIP and VIP ticket holders have been updated as well as they will all be joining the goodbye session.
