“What Comes After Love” is pulling at global fans’ heartstrings!
According to the global OTT (over-the-top) platform Rakuten Viki, the romance drama “What Comes After Love” starring Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro placed No. 1 in viewership in a total of 103 countries including the United States, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and India just within the second week of broadcast.
“What Comes After Love” is a romance drama based on the bestselling joint novel by Korean writer Gong Ji Young and Japanese writer Tsuji Hitonari. The novel tells the love story of a Korean woman named Hong (Lee Se Young) and a Japanese man named Jungo (Sakaguchi Kentaro) who meet and fall in love in Japan then reunite in Korea five years after their breakup.
“Dear Hyeri,” a romance drama starring Shin Hae Sun and Lee Jin Uk, also marked a significant debut. The drama garnered great attention by ranking No. 2 in viewership in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania, and No. 3 in India during its first week of broadcast. Currently, in its third week of broadcast, “Dear Hyeri” is maintaining its position in the top 5 in all regions.
“Dear Hyeri” is a healing romance drama that revolves around Joo Eun Ho (Shin Hae Sun), an announcer who develops dissociative identity disorder following the disappearance of her younger sister and her breakup with her longtime boyfriend Jung Hyun Oh (Lee Jin Uk).
