OUI Entertainment has announced WEi’s Jang Dae Hyeon’s plans to enlist in the military.
On September 1, OUI Entertainment revealed that Jang Dae Hyeon was preparing to enlist before the end of 2024.
The agency also stated that due to his upcoming enlistment, Jang Dae Hyeon’s participation in WEi’s activities would be limited starting from October.
OUI Entertainment’s full statement is as follows:
Hello.
This is OUI Entertainment.Thank you to the RUi [WEi’s fandom] who always give their love to WEi.
We are letting you know that WEi member Jang Dae Hyeon is currently preparing to fulfill his military duty in the second half of 2024.
Accordingly, while Jang Dae Hyeon will have no problem participating in WEi’s upcoming schedule, including their digital single “LOVE2YOU’ fan signing event and their Japanese release events, starting in October, his participation will be limited to predetermined activities.
We will make a separate announcement regarding the specifics of Jang Dae Hyeon’s military enlistment at a later time.
We ask for RUi’s generous understanding, and please give lots of love and interest to both Jang Dae Hyeon’s healthy fulfillment of his military duty and WEi’s various future activities.
