Upcoming film “Pilot” has shared a new behind-the-scenes video!
“Pilot” tells the story of Han Jung Woo (Jo Jung Suk), a star pilot who becomes unemployed overnight but succeeds in getting a new job after a shocking transformation. The film, which also stars Lee Joo Myung, Han Sun Hwa, Shin Seung Ho, and more, marks Jo Jung Suk’s return to the big screen for the first time in five years.
The newly released video, which goes behind the scenes of the film’s production, features interviews with the starring cast and director Kim Han Gyul.
The video also highlights the efforts of the production team in ensuring Jo Jung Suk’s appearance looks as realistic as possible without exaggeration. Costume director Kim Jung Won mentions Jo Jung Suk lost a lot of weight for his role in “Pilot,” and he also tried on over a hundred different outfits to achieve his own unique style.
Finally, the video briefly reveals the reason why singer Lee Chan Won’s fan items continuously appear in the promotional content of “Pilot.” Director Kim Han Gyul explains, “We took a lot of inspiration from Lee Chan Won’s fans and ultimately decided that [Han Jung Woo’s mother would be a fan of] Lee Chan Won.”
