Only a few days are left for the first episode of “Missing Crown Prince”!
MBN’s “Missing Crown Prince” is a romantic comedy set in the Joseon era about a crown prince who is kidnapped by the woman who is set to become his wife. While on the run for their lives, romance winds up blossoming between them. The drama is a spin-off of “Bossam: Steal the Fate,” which set a new record for the highest viewership ratings in MBN history.
All of the actors gathered together for a script reading, during which a deeper story can be seen unfolding behind a romantic comedy genre.
EXO’s Suho will star as Lee Geon, the crown prince whose life is turned upside down when he’s suddenly kidnapped by Choi Myung Yoon (Hong Ye Ji). In the video, Lee Geon’s fate raises curiosity as he’s told to die in everyone’s best interest.
At the same time, Lee Geon gets along with his brother Prince Dosung (Kim Min Kyu) despite being half-brothers; however, their relationship’s fate drives curiosity when Prince Dosung’s mother confronts him by asking him, “Do you choose me or your half-brother?”
Hong Ye Ji previewed her role as Choi Myung Yoon, the only daughter of the royal physician Choi Sang Rok and the greatest heroine of the Joseon era who kidnapped Lee Geon, looks extremely worried about the possible death of Lee Geon and thinks of ways to prevent this. During this process, it looks like she finds out that her father, who is capable of doing anything for her daughter, is hiding something behind all this.
The passionate acting of the cast at the script reading raise further anticipation for the portrayal of their complex characters in “Missing Crown Prince.”
