Upcoming occult film “Dark Nuns” has released new character posters and a teaser!
The second installment and the female version of Kang Dong Won’s hit 2015 film “The Priests,” “Dark Nuns” tells the story of nuns who perform exorcisms to save a young boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit.
The newly released character posters highlight the strong presence of each character, capturing attention.
The poster for Sister Junia (Song Hye Kyo), who will stop at nothing to save the boy, builds excitement with the tagline, “The nun who breaks taboos,” and Song Hye Kyo’s commanding charisma.
The poster for Sister Michaela (Jeon Yeo Been), with the tagline, “The nun with a secret,” hints at inner turmoil, blending curiosity and doubt as she prepares for an exorcism.
The poster for Father Paolo (Lee Jin Uk) features the tagline, “The priest who trusts medicine,” emphasizing his firm belief and suggesting unpredictable twists in the story.
Meanwhile, the poster for Hee Joon (Moon Woo Jin), the boy possessed by an evil spirit, carries the tagline, “The tormented possessed boy,” building anticipation with his chilling gaze and intense presence.
The newly released teaser captures attention with its portrayal of characters who will stop at nothing to save Hee Joon, the boy tormented by an evil spirit. Song Hye Kyo’s striking transformation into Sister Junia portrays a determined nun willing to do anything to save the boy, adding depth to her character and raising anticipation.
Jeon Yeo Been, as Sister Michaela, delivers a delicate performance, showing her initial curiosity and doubt about the reckless Sister Junia. Over time, Michaela opens up and joins the exorcism, sparking further intrigue. Meanwhile, Father Paolo, who trusts medicine and opposes exorcism, adds tension to the story by clashing with the two nuns, hinting at his own way of saving the boy.
Moon Woo Jin, portraying Hee Joon, the boy possessed by an evil spirit and desperate to live despite unimaginable pain, delivers a powerful performance that heightens expectations for his role.
