Upcoming film “One Win” has unveiled its first trailer ahead of its premiere!
“One Win” follows a women’s professional volleyball team that has never won a game. The story features a coach who has never tasted victory, an owner uninterested in winning, and players unsure of how to succeed. Despite their challenges, the team is determined to achieve just one win.
The trailer opens with the team’s coach Kim Woo Jin (Song Kang Ho) stepping onto the court with a stern expression. However, the team’s performance is far from inspiring. Highlighting Woo Jin’s lack of success, team owner Kang Jung Won (Park Jung Min) asks him, “You’ve faced dismissal, expulsion, bankruptcy, removal, and even divorce in your life?”
However, convinced that Woo Jin’s underdog story will draw attention, Kang Jung Won offers a 2 billion won (approximately USD 1.5 million) reward if the team achieves that elusive single victory. Despite their shortcomings in skill and experience, the coach and team are determined to turn their fortunes around.
The trailer concludes with a spirited moment in which the team’s captain Bang Soo Ji (Jang Yoon Joo) cheers for her teammates. Whether they will finally secure their first win remains to be seen in the upcoming film.
