On the latest episode of “The King of Mask Singer,” the identity of “Early Bird Dracula” was revealed!
During the August 18 broadcast of the MBC singing competition, four contestants advanced to the next round in their quest to challenge the reigning champion for the throne.
In the second match-up of Round 2, Early Bird Dracula stole hearts with a soulful cover of Crush’s “Love You With All My Heart” (from the soundtrack of the hit tvN drama “Queen of Tears”).
Early Bird Dracula also impressed the audience with his Round 1 performance of IU’s “Dear Name” during the previous episode of the show.
After watching his performance of “Love You With All My Heart,” the celebrity panelists praised Early Bird Dracula for his skillful technique and gorgeous vocals.
However, the masked singer also showed off his playful side by performing a comic dance to the tune of a popular “morning call” alarm.

Although Early Bird Dracula received high praise for his singing, he ultimately lost the round to his opponent—and when he took off his mask to reveal his identity, he turned out to be NCT’s Xiaojun, the main vocalist of WayV.
Notably, the celebrity panel was shocked that no one had noticed he was a foreigner due to his smooth pronunciation while singing.
After the show aired, Xiaojun took to social media to share photos he’d snapped with his mask backstage. The idol wrote, “Early Bird Dracula was Xiaojun! It was an honor to be able to appear on ‘The King of Mask Singer,’ and it was a great experience~ I’ll show you an even cooler side of myself in the future!”
