Upcoming film “Escape” has released a brand-new trailer!
“Escape” tells the story of the other side of the barbed-wire fence at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and depicts the fierce escape and pursuit of North Korean soldier Gyu Nam (Lee Je Hoon), who dreams of living a life with a future, and security team officer Hyun Sang (Koo Kyo Hwan), who must stop him. The film is helmed by Lee Jong Pil of “Samjin Company English Class” and “The Sound of a Flower.”
The newly released trailer portrays Gyu Nam’s struggle to escape to the South and Hyun Sang’s relentless pursuit of him. In one scene, when everyone else is asleep at night, Gyu Nam wakes up alone and sneakily prepares for his escape, making viewers wonder if his meticulously planned escape will go smoothly.
The suspenseful scene of Gyu Nam sprinting without stopping in the middle of the night creates a sense of urgency that takes viewers’ breath away. Additionally, the intimidating presence of Hyun Sang, who can freeze his surroundings with just a glance, captures attention. The contrast between his demeanor while playing the piano and his overwhelming aura as he commands dozens of soldiers and relentlessly chases Gyu Nam heightens expectations for the relentless pursuit that will unfold.
The trailer further heightens viewers’ anticipation with glimpses of the film’s diverse cast of characters, including Hong Sa Bin, Song Kang, and Esom.
