Kim Woo Bin’s upcoming Netflix action-comedy film “Officer Black Belt” has officially announced its premiere date along with a new poster and teaser!
“Officer Black Belt” follows the story of Lee Jung Do (Kim Woo Bin), who has a total of nine dans (meaning ranks) in taekwondo, kendo, and judo, as he works as a martial arts officer together with probation officer Kim Seon Min (Kim Sung Kyun) to prevent crimes by keeping a close, around-the-clock watch on individuals wearing electronic anklets.
The poster features Lee Jung Do with a striking bleached hairstyle, delivering a punch with a confident smile. The shattered glass fragments, seemingly broken by his punch, reveal a map and crime location markers. The tagline, “Strike crime before it strikes the world,” further amplifies the anticipation for Lee Jung Do’s vigilant and formidable role as a martial arts officer who tracks and monitors criminals in real time.
The trailer begins with Lee Jung Do showcasing his impressive martial arts prowess, boasting third-degree black belts in taekwondo, kendo, and judo—totaling nine dans. Kim Seon Min, who monitors criminals wearing electronic ankle monitors nationwide, recognizes Lee Jung Do’s exceptional abilities and invites him to join as a martial arts officer.
