Netflix upcoming series “Hellbound 2” has unveiled new character posters and a gripping teaser!

Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, Season 1 of “Hellbound” was set in a world where humans faced a frightening supernatural phenomenon: emissaries from hell appeared on Earth without warning and condemned people to hell. In “Hellbound 2,” the plot thickens as Min Hye Jin (Kim Hyun Joo), a lawyer for Sodo, gets entangled with the New Truth Society, the Arrowhead faction, and the shocking resurrection of New Truth leader Jung Jin Su (Kim Sung Cheol) and Park Jung Ja (Kim Shin Rok).

The newly released character posters spark curiosity by showing people living in a hellish world, along with resurrected beings and the hellhounds that still accompany them.

The poster of Min Hye Jin stands out with her intense gaze, reflecting her unwavering belief in justice. In a chaotic world filled with random protests and demonstrations, she leads an organization called Sodo, which opposes the New Truth Society and the Arrowheads while searching for resurrected beings.

Jung Jin Su, the founding chair of the New Truth Society, received a prophecy and secretly faced a demonstration by monstrous executors. Now resurrected, his poster states, “I am the one who saw the truth with my own eyes.” This raises concerns about the influence he will have after spreading false beliefs since his return.

Park Jung Ja is resurrected after four years following her live demonstration in Season 1, where the entire nation witnessed her descent into hell, drawing comparisons to Jung Jin Su who has also been resurrected.

Attention is also drawn to new characters: the mysterious Cheon Se Hyeong (Im Sung Jae), who cares for Jung Jin Su after his resurrection; Lee Su Gyeong (Moon So Ri), the political affairs secretary who aims to use the resurrected Park Jung Ja to create a new doctrine and strengthen the New Truth Society; and Miss Sunshine (Moon Geun Young), a key instigator for Arrowhead, known for her striking makeup.

The trailer released alongside depicts a world increasingly thrown into chaos by ongoing announcements and demonstrations of hell. It features the resurrected Jung Jin Su and Park Jung Ja as they enter a new phase.

The New Truth Society is slowly losing power due to the absence of its founding chair, Jung Jin Su, and the survival of the prophesied child. In contrast, Arrowhead views this as an opportunity to expand its influence through propaganda and instigation, criticizing the New Truth Society’s doctrine.

As chaos resembling anarchy spreads due to Arrowhead’s rise to power, the government suddenly focuses on the resurrected Park Jung Ja. Lee Su Gyeong, the political affairs secretary, plans to approach the New Truth Society that has been hiding Park Jung Ja in order to establish a new order.

In a world where fear of hell mixes with a misguided desire to understand divine intent, the newly resurrected beings, along with the power struggles among Sodo, the New Truth Society, Arrowhead, and the government, promise to create an unpredictable and thrilling storyline in “Hellbound 2.”
