Upcoming drama “Bad Memory Eraser” has dropped a new teaser and posters!

“Bad Memory Eraser” is a new MBN romance drama about a man whose life changes due to a memory eraser and the woman who holds his fate in her hands. Kim Jaejoong will star as Lee Kun, who was once a promising tennis player but lost his self-esteem and confidence after an injury. Jin Se Yeon will star as neuropsychiatrist Kyung Joo Yeon, who unintentionally winds up becoming Lee Kun’s fake first love through memory manipulation.

The newly released teaser kicks off with Lee Kun, who lost all his confidence, sharing his concerns with someone by asking, “Should I consider meeting my first love? But if someone like me asks her out, she would probably hate it, right?”

When Lee Kun suffers from unknown symptoms, neuropsychiatrist Kyung Joo Yeon tells him, “It’s somatization disorder due to neurosis. You know it’s fake pain, right?” Lee Kun talks back in great pain, “If I could just forget and live, I would even sell my soul to you.”

In the clip that follows, Kyung Joo Yeon is making a presentation at a conference. She meaningfully says, “Once a bad memory is imprinted, it becomes trauma that can never be undone. What if you could erase it forever?” raising curiosity as to the mysterious bad memory eraser surgery that transforms Lee Kun into a new person.

The character posters showcase the unique charms of Lee Kun, Kyung Joo Yeon, Lee Shin (Lee Jong Won), and Jeon Sae Yan (Yang Hye Ji). Each character is holding a Polaroid photo of themselves, and the text that reads, “Do you remember? Yourself from back then,” adds to the curiosity about what bad memories are being erased.

“Bad Memory Eraser” premieres on August 2 at 9:40 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Viki.
