KBS 2TV has released a second teaser for its upcoming drama “Who Is She”!
A remake of the famous film “Miss Granny,” which has spawned multiple remakes in other countries, “Who Is She” is a music romance drama about a woman in her 70s who suddenly transforms into a 20-year-old and gets a second chance at living out her dreams.
In the new teaser, Oh Doo Ri (Jung Ji So)—who was originally Oh Mal Soon (Kim Hae Sook)—joins idol agency UNIS Entertainment after transforming into a young woman. There, she prepares to debut in a girl group alongside her granddaughter Choi Ha Na (Chae Won Bin), who doesn’t know her true identity. Producer Daniel Han (B1A4’s Jung Jinyoung) and the other trainees call Doo Ri “Emily” and seemingly refer to her as being from LA, piquing curiosity as to who they think she is.
While most of the other trainees appear to dislike her, Ha Na is strangely drawn to Doo Ri, who asks her, “Why are you so nice to me?” Ha Na replies, “Because you resemble my grandmother.”
After Daniel Han offers her a spot in the debut lineup, Doo Ri gives practice her all, declaring, “If I don’t want to get kicked out, I should at least practice freaking hard.” Later, when she finds her heart fluttering around Daniel Han, she asks, “What if I were a fake? What if I weren’t the Emily you’re looking for?”
“Who Is She” will premiere on December 18 at 9:50 p.m. KST, following the conclusion of KBS’s currently airing drama “Face Me.” In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
