The upcoming film “Firefighters” has unveiled a second trailer ahead of its premiere!

Directed by Kwak Kyung Taek, “Firefighters” will tell the real-life story of firefighters who responded to the fire disaster in the Hongje neighborhood in March 2001. The movie will vividly depict the urgent situation faced by the team from the Western Fire Station, along with the sweat and tears of firefighters working under challenging conditions, all driven by a singular goal of extinguishing the fire and rescuing everyone.

The newly released trailer captures the brave firefighters who risked their lives to rescue those trapped amidst raging flames. The video uses cross-cutting, alternating between scenes from the movie and intense real footage from the event on which it is based. The accompanying caption reads, “The real story of 2001 that cannot be forgotten.”

In one scene, rookie firefighter Cheol Woong (Joo Won) boldly asks, “Don’t you regret it? That you kept searching recklessly until the very end?” In another moment, as the trailer shows firefighters burying their heads in their hands as if burdened by a silent agony, Seo Hee (Lee Yoo Young) narrates, “We all feel the same. We’re just acting like nothing happened.”
